I first met Angela at Creek Creative in Faversham back in 2011. At her solo show in the main gallery we discussed documenting her artwork and creating a new website that she could take ownership of when it came to adding new work or exhibitions. I showed her how WordPress works as a content management system in the back end and then how visually we can display the artwork. She’s been using it ever since.
Angela Rumble is a painter based near Faversham, Kent who received her MA in Fine Art (1999) from UCA Canterbury.
She works in oil on canvas or board in a muted colour palette. Her paintings explore a tension between the sterile nature of the digital image and the stubbornly hand made qualities of the paintings.
