For artist David Hayward we designed a clean and minimal website, where he could document his recent work, while archiving past work on to yearly sections using WordPress as a content management system.
My paintings are primarily concerned with the qualities of colour and surface and how these can be manipulated and ordered in ways that allude to aspects of the physical and transient nature of the world. Much of my work may appear abstract, but memories of places, objects and events will seep into decision-making and inform the direction that each work will take – references will often be about unseen physical structures (geological and archaeological) or transient atmospherics (weather and sounds).
