Another trip into Faversham Market with Chef Lorraine from the Gallery Kitchen Cafe in preparation for an upcoming Sunday Social at Creek Creative, we headed into town for Friday’s Charter Market to visit our local vegetable supplier D H Simmons Fruit & Veg. They have been a family run business in Faversham for over 140 years.
They offer a wide range of seasonal fruit and veg as well as free range eggs, jams, honey and apple juice.
Look out for dates and times for Loraine’s Sunday Social where she will be showcasing the Eastern European dish ‘Shuba’ which is a show stopping, wonderfully delicious inexpensive salad dish.
